The Wrong Train
The story, as told at his sixtieth, is that Ravi got on the wrong train in 1988 and met his wife.
It is a good story and he has told it perhaps four hundred times and it has been improved somewhat in transit, and it is also, he has come to believe, a lie about causation that has taken him thirty years to correct.
